MEET…Adam Scott

What’s your favorite kind of sandwich?
PB&J

The Beatles or Elvis? Why?
Elvis, he was the King

Lyrics to live by?
Live like you were dying

“Desert Island” album?
If I was stranded I reckon I’d take the Eagles greatest hits.

What country music artists do you listen to the most?
I listen to everybody honestly. My favs right now are Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Tyler Childers, and Ashley McBride.

How would you describe your “sound”?
It’s my own, just take a listen!

Where do you see your musical career in 5 years?
In 5 years I hope to have played the Opry, which is definitely bucket list, have a publishing/record label, and hopefully still be doing what I love, making country music!

Are there any instruments you don’t play but wish you did? Why?
Yes, I wish I played the piano. Just something I always wanted to learn but didn’t.

What was the best advice you have received?
Take criticism and use it to make you better. Winners never give up and quitters never win.

What advice would you give to yourself at the start of your musical career?
Be careful who you work with, protect your music, network with as many artist/writers you can. Be a cool hang.

Where does most of your inspiration come from?
My father, he’s a songwriter and one of the best bassist I’ve played with. He molded my love for music.

What do you consider to be your biggest achievement in your career so far?
Having my first cut as a songwriter, and it hitting a million streams.

What’s on the horizon for you that you would like to share?
I’m working on a schedule for next year now, planning on dropping the next single by February. Hope to see y’all on the road!

  1. I’m forevermore impressed with the levels of success Adam has obtained in spite of adversity. He has slept in his truck, been ripped off and swindled by an artist manager, but has paved his own way and never complained. Quite frankly if Adam Scott wasn’t my son I would certainly wish he was. 🎶📜✍
